Susan McCaslin - Demeter Goes Skydiving

Susan McCaslin is a prizewinning poet, author of eleven volumes of poetry, including her most recent, Demeter Goes Skydiving (University of Alberta Press, 2011). In Oct. of 2011 she published a book of essays prefaced by short poems titled Arousing the Spirit (Wood Lake Publishing). She has edited two poetry anthologies on the relation between poetry and spirituality, as well as written numerous essays and a children’s book.
Susan is Faculty Emeritus of Douglas College in New Westminster, British Columbia where she taught English and Creative Writing for twenty-three years. She is currently living in Victoria, BC. www.susanmccaslin.ca
Ted Blodgett - Apostrophes VII

E.D. Blodgett, F.R.S.C. and Distinguished University Professor Emeritus of Comparative Literature, taught at the University of Alberta for 34 years. Having contributed to a number of journals both here and abroad, he has also written and edited a number of books on aspects of the Canadian Literatures. He has published more than 22 books of poetry. From 2007-2009 he was Edmonton's Poet Laureate. He currently lives in Surrey, British Columbia.
Lorne Daniel - Drawing Back to Take a Running Jump

Poet and non-fiction author Lorne Daniel was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and now lives in Victoria, British Columbia. His writing has been published in dozens of magazines, literary journals and newspapers and has been included in such prominent anthologies as Al Purdy's Storm Warning II and Writing the Terrain. He won the Jon Whyte Memorial Essay Prize in 1996. His poetry has also been broadcast on CBC Radio. www.lornedaniel.com
